After a 10 year career on Wall Street, Richard Morea, along with his wife Katharina founded RK Energy Group with the hopes of filling a gap he saw in the business marketplace. Most businesses, small and large, were struggling to make sense of the fast changing energy landscape as it related to their own energy usage. A lot of business owners and executives weren’t working with an energy advisor to help them manage and reduce their monthly energy expenses. So the couple started RK Energy Group in order to educate consumers about electricity and natural gas rate savings and utility programs that were available to them but either didn’t know about them or weren’t sure how they worked.

RK Energy Group has had fast growth over the last few years due in part to our commitment to our customers to provide them with fast and honest service. Our company has been built on integrity and accountability and our customers have responded positively by remaining with us for years and referring us to friends and business associates.

Richard was born and raised in Queens, NY and is a graduate of St. John’s University. Katharina was born in Poland and lived in numerous European countries prior to coming to the US. They have 3 beautiful daughters.
